  • Wahine Whai Ora is a women’s day programme for those who want to make changes to their alcohol and drug misuse.

    Women work in groups and in individual counselling settings using the model of recovery most suited to their individual needs. The women also participate in other life skill development programmes.

  • At West Christchurch Womens Refuge, we offer three very different ways to support you with our wraparound service and support programmes

    We provide crisis support services, including access to our safe house, as appropriate to need and assessment.

    We run workshops on how to identify a controlling or abusive relationship.

    Our Whanau Resilience Service includes a a specialist programme that supports recovery after leaving an abusive relationship and is designed to regain confidence, trust and self-worth.
